Now that you know the why’s and what’s of journaling, here’s a “how!”

Day 3 Tip

Remember that when it comes to keeping a journal, there is only one rule: there are no rules!

Why it matters

You can color, draw, write paragraphs, write bullets statements, create a collage, or include word art. There are no restrictions. The beauty of journaling is you can do absolutely anything!

When you journal, have a diverse collection of pens, pencils, crayons, and markers. Keep in mind that this is your creation! This is what you will look back on years down the road.

You can also take clippings out from newspapers or magazines, and use loose papers or office supplies to create words or little pictures.

Why do this, you ask? Journaling helps create an outlet to clear your mind and calm yourself following an aggravating day.
