The major rule of eating fruit probably is to make sure to eat it alone or only with other fruit. Simply because, fruits, like oranges, contain simple sugars that need time to be absorbed into the body, therefore when taken alone, your body has time to easily process the sugars and get the optimum benefit from them. Eating oranges with other food may cause you to get a stomach upset and indigestion.

Oranges are full of powerful benefits such as Vitamin C, tiber, potassium and folate. They help to guard against disease, lower rates of heart disease and lower blood pressure. An orange is the perfect afternoon snack as it is refreshing and a great pick me up. They will increase your metabolism and give you an energy boost helping you to avoid the mid afternoon slump. You can simply have an orange or maybe try a juice or fruit smoothie containing oranges.

Best Timing:

Try to avoid oranges first thing or in your breakfast as they are quite acidic and may lead to an upset stomach for the morning which is not a good start to the day.
