Get-Clear-Bright-Acne-Free-SkinDIY-Face-Mask

You may have used turmeric to make amazingly tasty curries but that isn’t where the greatness of turmeric ends. For many Eastern countries turmeric has been used for beauty as it does wonders for the skin and hair. Part of the ginger family, turmeric contains numerous antioxidants as well as antibacterial properties that benefit your skin.

Using a turmeric face mask can help improve the skin’s elasticity, lighten dark spots, reduce dark circles under the eyes, control oily skin, reduce scars, cure acne and even help with anti-ageing. With all these benefits it’s no wonder so many women use turmeric as part of their beauty regime.

In this video, Promise Phan takes you through how to make your own simple turmeric face mask. With only a few simple yet nourishing ingredients, you can make this yourself quickly and easily and reap the benefits of this wonderful spice!

FAQs For Turmeric Face Masks

  1. Does this stain my face?
If you have light skin, then yes. But you can take the stains away with face toner or make up remover. Also, beware of stains on the sink or anywhere else. Again, you can remove this quickly with make up remover. Use gloves if necessary.
  2. I have dry skin. Will this make it drier?
If you add a bit of coconut or olive oil to the mixture, it will work as a moisturizer.
  3. Can I use this if I have sensitive skin?
It should be safe to use the face mask but make sure you aren’t allergic to any of the ingredients first.
  4. How long will it take before I see any results?
It may take up to a month so persevere! If you have bad acne, then try using it up to 3 times a week for best results.
