While it is awesome to have a great vehicle in your garage, such as the Evo X GSR or the Nissan GT-R, there are going to be times when you really only need to have something you can do with your family other than going for drives. One great idea is to build your own Romani wagon. Not only is this a great project that the whole family can be involved in, it is also something you can use for family vacations.
1. Gather the materials.
The first thing you need to do is gather up all of the materials and tools you will need for this project.
2. Measure and cut.
Next, you have to sketch out the layout onto the wood, and make sure that all measurements are correct. Then, you can start cutting out the pieces.
3. Start assembly.
Now, you can start putting together the walls of your Romani wagon. It is easiest if you use a table, and do the work in four sections.
4. Center half wall, doors, windows, and floor.
Now, you can start to make the wagon actually look like something. You will be centering the half wall, adding door and window openings, and fastening everything to the floor.
5. Side walls.
The next step is to install the side walls, bed, and the upper and end walls. It’s really starting to come together now.
6. Doors and windows.
Now you can install the doors and windows, permanent braces, rafters, and decks.
7. Interior
It’s time to have fun, and start installing benches, a pantry, a kitchen, central heating, sauna, shelving, etc.
