Moored on Regent’s Canal in Hackney, Lyris is the first project of Bert’s Barges boutique hotel and offers luxurious accommodation in a stunning floating suite close to East London’s stylish restaurants and art galleries. Decorated in a vintage Scandinavian style, the barge’s interiors feature gorgeous designer fittings and furnishings, exquisite lighting, as well as custom-made tiles and flooring by Bert & May, the founder of this quirky barge hotel brand. The vessel comprises a fully-equipped kitchen, a chic living area, a sleek bathroom with walk-in Agape shower, and a comfy bedroom, complete with a plush king sized Murphy bed and high-end duck down duvets and pillows. Among the many interesting features is the lovely roof terrace, where guests can sunbathe and indulge in a delicious BBQ.
