The Hobbit House
Built into a hillside in Trout Creek, MT, the Hobbit House looks like something out of a Tolkien novel. Also known as Shire of Montana, the 1,000-square-foot underground structure is decorated with bespoke furniture and rustic woodwork, accommodating up to three guests in two tasteful bedrooms.
Both the bathroom and the cozy kitchen are modernly equipped and come with granite counter tops, while creature comforts include Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and a Blu-Ray CD player with a library of books and CDs.
The LOTR theme continues outside, where magical light displays and adorable little fairy homes adorn the whimsical 20-acre property.
