Great boyfriends are rare. In fact it is impossible to find the perfect guy. But you can find a boyfriend that does well with the little things. When a boyfriend can make you feel treasured and cherished, then it is essential to make sure you keep him. If your boyfriend does some or all of these things, you shouldn’t let him go.
1. He really looks at you
He has a way of looking at you that makes you feel like the most important person in the world. In his eyes, you will find an ocean of emotions that stirs an invisible attraction to him within you. Those eyes can connect with you and elicit a strong response in you.
2. He always remembers your birthday
It is not just about remembering the day you were born. He would buy you something really nice that would make that day special and memorable. He is willing to go the extra mile to make those days count for you.
3. He treats your family with respect
He loves your family. And your family loves him. He knows what your family means to you and doesn’t consider them to be a threat in your relationship. He respects them and he is not jealous enough to try and put a wedge between you and your family. He treats your family as if they were his own.
4. He will serve you breakfast in bed
He knows how to cook. And when you are sick and you can’t make something for yourself, he will be kind enough to help by preparing your favorite meal. He can make those meals delicious enough to make you hope he stays in your life forever.
5. He speaks to your soul
He can discuss politics, entertainment and philosophy, and make every conversation with you prove to be a learning experience. He speaks well and offers you intelligent solutions to any challenges you may have. Yet he is not cocky and doesn’t a superiority complex about his intellectual abilities.
6. He is willing to say sorry first
He is humble. He will admit to his mistakes and tell you sorry first. He doesn’t want to lose you over something insignificant. Rather he will do the little things to preserve your friendship with him.
7. He will take care of you when you are ill
He doesn’t want to see you hurt. He will take care of you and make sure you recover from any low periods. He will make you a soup if you are cold and bring cough drops home and make sure you take them. He wants you healthy and sound.
8. He walks with you on the beach
He takes you on those impromptu beach walks that make you value him even when he is not around. Those walks help you reflect and make plans for the future. He will inspire you during those walks and make you feel secure as he puts his arm around your shoulder.
9. He drives you through the night
Those night drives with him are like a fire chasing the moon. He is driving with you through the planet at an hour that only spells silence. You don’t want to be anywhere else but with him at that moment. Whether it is an emergency, or to a special venue like the theaters, he makes you feel like a princess when he drives you.
10. He teaches you how to play the guitar
He teaches you meticulously. He tells you how to place your fingers on the guitar and strum the musical instrument. He is detailed and soft as he tells you what you need to know. You can learn fast and so deep with him.
