25 Magnificent Pictures from the Real Life Hogwarts School in Poland

Every lover of the amazing world inhabited by the characters of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series has at one point or another wished that they could get a letter in the mail inviting them to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  Theme parks have tried to recreate the feel of the books and subsequent films, and individuals around the world have tried to do the same thing independently for themselves, but so far nothing has really come all that close to bringing Hogwarts to life – until now that is.  A group of enthusiasts have come together at Zcocha Castle in Poland to create the ultimate wizard role-playing experience at The College of Wizardry.
The school is open to those 18 years of age and older and is conducted in English so as to allow for more international attendance.  No matter where the students hail from originally, though, tickets for the event – now in its second year – completely sold out in just a couple of days for this year’s round.  Students come with their favorite wizard related items, but they’re also provided with attire in the form of robes and a house tie, plus their books.  As the “school” is housed in a historic castle and not a replica of Hogwarts, the concept is that it’s another wizarding school like Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, and thus sport their own unique houses.  No matter the house that students join, everyone gets a chance to explore magic courses, socialize, and take part in various magic related activities, all over the course of four days.
