1. Yogurt

2. Fruit
There are endless choices when it comes to choosing fruit and each subgroup has its own benefits. Berries like blueberries, strawberries and raspberries are known to contain antioxidants, which aid in the prevention of diseases like cancer. Stone fruits like plums and apricots are known to have high levels of vitamin C, that helps create collagen, the main protein in creating connective tissue. Pregnant women should be careful with how much vitamin C they take in per day, since too much can be harmful to a baby’s development.
3. Sweet potatoes
This vegetable is packed with vitamin A, folate, and fiber, three nutrients that are essential for the health of you and your baby. Vitamin A is essential during pregnancy, because it helps with postpartum tissue repair and aids in maintaining normal vision and warding off infections. Add a little bit of cinamon, sugar and butter to dress up your potato.
4. Dark green leafy vegetables
Vegetables like chard, kale and spinach are good to include in your diet because they have high levels of vitamins A, C and K, as well as folate. Each these as much as you want to stay full, fit, and healthy for your baby.
8. Beans
Beans are important for pregnancy because they are packed with fiber and protein. You may already realize the necessity of protein during pregnancy, but fiber also plays an important role as well in preventing constipation and hemorrhoids. Navy beans, lentils, black beans, pinto beans, chickpeas are all options that you can mix into a salad or eat plain with some added spices.

The media often portrays pit bulls in a negative light, but a new infographic from K9 of Mine is hoping to correct some of those misconceptions.
The In Defense Of Pit Bulls Infographic provides data and statistics showing that pit bulls aren’t the dangerous breed they are often made out to be.
This infographic and corresponding studies accompanying it show that breed has very little to do with fatal dog bite attacks. Instead, factors affecting the likelihood of dog attacks include how the dog is treated in the home and whether or not the dog is neutered.
Pit bulls don’t deserve the label of vicious attack dog—really, they aren’t much different than any other breed of dog. They deserve the same consideration as any other breed.

Some of the highlights for travelers in Ethiopia include the ancient walled city of Harar, the spectacular Blue Nile Falls, and the Danakil depression (where you can see hot springs and volcanoes as well as sulphur and mineral salt formations).
4. Croatia
Croatia is known for its luxurious coastline. While it’s not as cheap as some other Eastern European countries, it’s still more affordable than the Euro Zone, especially if you avoid peak season from July to September. Aside from sun and sea, Croatia has a rich culture and history, as evidenced by the well-preserved medieval city of Dubrovnik. You can get a taste of the wild by visiting national parks like Plitvice Lakes and Krka.
5. Philippines
The Philippines is an archipelago of over 7,000 islands. Although it’s not as well-known as some Southeast Asian destinations, it’s well worth a visit. There are over 30 volcanoes, a tropical rain forest, Spanish colonial architecture, and some of the world’s most beautiful rice terraces. The fact that many Filipinos speak English will also make it easier for you to get around and make new friends along the way.
6. Madagascar
Madagascar is one of the largest islands in the world. This beautiful place is surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Try wilderness trekking in the mountains of Chiang Mai, where you can visit impressive temples, palaces, and floating markets or take a scenic boat ride along the Mekong River.

Bolivia is one of the most affordable backpacking destinations in South America, but that’s certainly not the only reason to add it to your bucket list.
