Rumbling Volcano Forces Thousands Of Indonesian Villagers To Leave Their Homes (10 pics)
After two years of inactivity, Mount Sinaburg erupted last weekend. Hot ash and thick plumes of black smoke continue to fill the Indonesian skies as over 7,500 villagers were forced to evacuate. The volcano is spitting ash hot rocks up to 15 km away from the summit.
Dedicated Fan Saved 7 Years Worth of Bottlecaps to Pay for Fallout 4 (4 pics)
A Fallout fan wrote a letter and sent 2,240 bottlecaps to Bethesda, the video game company that developed Fallout 3 and that is currently developing Fallout 4, in hope to receive a copy of Fallout 4 in exchange. Seems like a fair trade to me, right?
For one dedicated fan, $60 is not enough to pay for a copy of Fallout 4.
Imgur user GatorMacheteJr (real name Seth) has been saving his bottle caps since the release of Fallout 3 in 2008. Now he has approximately 2,000 of the Fallout universes currency and he wants to make a trade.
He wrote a letter to Bethesda, the developer behind the game outlining his proposal to trade the “caps” for a game.
He mailed the letter along with the 11 pounds of caps. He doesn’t detail if he wants the special edition of the game, which comes with the wrist mounted cell phone holster reminiscent of the “pip-boy” used in the game. However reddit has worked out that the exchange rate of caps for dollars is somewhere between 40 and 50 cents per cap, so he is mailing them approximately $800 in fictional currency in addition to the cost of mailing an 11lb box to Maryland.
So far the response from Bethesda has been thus…

This mother of 4 was robbed and shot some time ago leaving her paralyzed from the chest down. For various reasons she kept getting rejected by landlords and only managed to get this third floor apartment which is a daily challenge for her.
Fortunately, she can count on her kids to help.
Her sons take turns to carry her up and down the stairs while her daughter takes care of the wheelchair.
She is on a waiting list to get an apartment with handicap access since 2011.
